Media and Communication Science is located at Campus Sundsvall and is affiliated with the research center DEMICOM. Within DEMICOM, research is conducted on democracy and communication in the digital society. The research includes, among other things, strategic communication, political communication, journalism, organizational communication, crisis communication and communication for sustainable development. The research is characterized by societal relevance, interdisciplinary collaborations and close links to current societal challenges. Duties The doctoral position is primarily research-focused and comprises approximately 80 percent research and 20 percent teaching and/or institutional duties. You will conduct doctoral studies in media and communication science, be part of the research environment at DEMICOM, and participate in scientific publications, conferences and other research activities. Our customers' facilities and processes often require the highest availability, which is also reflected in our projects. Our Requirements Engineering degree or equivalent with a focus on electrical design. Experience using CAD design tools such as Elprocad, E-Plan, Elcad, or CadettELSA. Experience with cable sizing calculation software, such as EL-Vis or Febdoc. Good general computer skills and strong proficiency in MS Excel. Basic process knowledge and experience from water/wastewater, energy, or industrial facilities. Experience with commissioning and start-up of process facilities. Known for being dedicated and responsible. You have strong Swedish language skills in both speaking and writing, as well as good English proficiency.
