Registered Nurses for Night Operations in Assisted Living and Home Healthcare

Are you a registered nurse who enjoys working nights, where no two nights are the same? Then you may be a great fit for a position with us! We are now seeking two registered nurses for evening and night operations in Östersund municipality. One position is placed to work with the municipality's assisted living facilities, and the other position is placed to work with home healthcare. You will work in close collaboration with competent colleagues, and each shift is varied, meaningful, and filled with opportunities where your efforts make a real difference! Both positions comprise a 75% employment level with the possibility of expansion within the administration. Work hours are scheduled for evening and night shifts, with specific times varying depending on placement. Work follows a rotating schedule over six weeks, where you work two weekends per schedule period. Your New Role Our operations are based at Österäng, which also houses multiple home care units and other licensed personnel. Here you work closely with your registered nurse and district nurse colleagues in a team with strong commitment and collaboration. Together you form an experienced team where you always have access to support and collegial exchange. Your role differs slightly depending on whether you work as a nurse in our assisted living facilities or in home healthcare. If you are placed to work in SÄBO (assisted living), a typical night at work involves traveling between different assisted living facilities in Östersund municipality for planned interventions or tasks that arise based on need. As a nurse in the home healthcare area, you work evenings and nights with citizens connected to home healthcare, Storsjögläntan and MiNT-teamet, as well as within a primary care assignment (1177 matters). The citizens you meet in home healthcare range from children to the oldest citizens in the municipality and typically involve more specialized care. Work in both roles includes medical assessments, palliative care, end-of-life care and other planned tasks, as well as support and advice to care personnel by phone or on-site. An important part of your work is also documenting and updating patient records in our operational system.
