Jämtlands Gymnasieförbund oversees upper secondary education, adapted upper secondary education, and parts of adult education in our member municipalities. Description
We are seeking substitute teachers for Jämtlands Gymnasium Wargentin who can step in on short notice when needed. These positions are primarily for teaching and can span several different subjects and programs.
You will be called in as needed and will have the opportunity to work with young people at a large and comprehensive upper secondary school.
Your Future Responsibilities
As a substitute teacher, you will assist teachers and work teams, primarily with teaching. There may be needs in areas such as music, economics, physical education, mathematics, English, Swedish, languages, social studies, history, and vocational subjects. Other tasks related to teaching duties may also occur.
You may work in different programs depending on operational needs.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone who is, for example, a student, retiree, or working part-time and wants to work more. You are studying to become a teacher or have other education or experience.
You want to work with young people and have the ability to collaborate with students, guardians, colleagues, and school leadership. You are also willing to learn the documentation and assessment practices expected in a teaching role and use IT as a natural tool in your work.
