We are now looking for someone who is patient and engaged, who wants to help develop our LSS residential facility in central Östersund. Here you will work closely with our residents, participate in meaningful activities, and contribute to preventing behaviors that require extra care. We are offering two permanent positions, where 75 percent of the job is based at this facility, and the remaining 25 percent you work at other workplaces within the Disability Sector if you choose to work 100 percent. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night on-call shifts, and weekends. You work according to a rotation schedule with the opportunity to influence your schedule within applicable guidelines. Start date is by agreement. Your new job As a support assistant/support worker with us, you strengthen people's independence, participation, and quality of life through a professional, person-centered, and preventative approach. In our operations, we apply a KASAM-inspired approach where we work to create a daily life characterized by comprehensibility, manageability, and meaningfulness. The facility is home to 12 residents, three of whom have greater support needs and live near the staff apartment, while the remaining 7 residents live relatively independently in satellite apartments nearby. You support residents with everything from household chores to personal care. A large part of the work involves creating an active and meaningful everyday life together with the residents. Therefore, many activities take place out in the community, for example at fitness classes, leisure activities, excursions, and sometimes even vacation trips. We want to continue developing the operation through more joint activities in our common spaces. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is enterprising, flexible, and creative, who likes to come up with new ideas. You are a reassuring and attentive person who understands neuropsychiatric functional impairments. You have experience with or interest in working with TAKK/AKK and other pedagogical tools that promote communication, independence, and emotional regulation. You see possibilities and have the ability to prevent and manage challenging situations with calm, patience, and a solution-focused approach. The work also includes documenting in the journal system Viva and following the facility's routines and working methods. Together we work to find the right support, the right methods, and the best solutions for each individual. Common work tasks Support and guidance in the individual's daily life Assisting residents with personal care Participating in various activities together with the individual Medication management Delegated tasks from licensed personnel Documentation in Viva, MCSS, and DF-respons Your qualifications Requirements Upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on care, pedagogy, or social work. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Merits Trained support assistant or nursing assistant. Experience in care and health services work. Experience working with people with neuropsychiatric functional impairments. Experience working with TAKK/AKK. Good computer skills. Driver's license.
