Your new job Together with two theater teacher colleagues, you will teach subjects within theater such as physical theater, dramatic character work, stage design, directing, and voice. The Aesthetics Program as a whole is an important and visible part of the school's operations, and you will be part of the rector district that encompasses the entire aesthetic education with its four national specializations. In addition to teaching, you will participate in and be responsible for tasks within subject and program teams. Based on the high expertise within the subject team, our facilities designed for theater instruction, and our ambition to conduct high-quality theater education, we have been granted by the National School Board to conduct nationally recruiting elite aesthetic education in stage art theater. Your competence We are looking for you who are qualified and licensed as a theater teacher at the upper secondary level. We would like you to have experience teaching at the upper secondary level. Our expectations of you as a teacher are that: You are a clear leader and work in a structured manner. You are communicative and work with feedback as a natural part of the assignment. You take into account students' different needs and conditions for learning. You find it easy to build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are confident in working across professional boundaries and curious about examining our teaching together with colleagues and adapting it to optimize students' learning opportunities. Good to know The position is created based on parental leave and is a fixed-term employment from November 1, 2026 to December 20, 2027. The possibility of extending the position may become relevant.
