Here we provide municipal health and care services in patients' home environments, both in ordinary housing and in care facilities. In our licensed team there are several physical therapists, occupational therapists and nurses who work with the same facilities as you. As a physical therapist you independently plan your week and workday. A typical day can include patient visits, team meetings, collaboration with other professionals and documentation. You work from a person-centered approach with focus on the patient's resources, participation and individual goals. You are responsible for physical therapy assessments, treatments, rehabilitation interventions and follow-ups based on the physical therapy process. The work also involves guiding and advising care personnel in rehabilitative working methods, supervising physical therapy students, and prescribing and following up on rehabilitation interventions. You work with assessing and treating reduced mobility and physical function in people who often have complex and multifaceted needs.
