Our colorful, vibrant, and energetic concept, combined with our ambition to make retail more than just a place where customers buy products, has truly made an impact. The experience is always at the center of our stores. The core is that customers can test, try, smell, squeeze, and feel products in an inspiring, playful, and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. As Store Manager at Lyko, you play a crucial role in bringing these elements together. As a leader, we highly value your drive to give every individual the opportunity to take responsibility and grow. In addition to products, the store will also offer various activations, such as supplier collaborations and inspiring events. Of course, you'll contribute ideas on how we can continue to build customer relationships beyond the ordinary. As Store Manager, your main responsibilities will be to: Create WOW experiences for all customers by always putting the customer experience first – both personally and with your team Lead, coach, and develop your team to become their best selves Run a profitable business through sound business practices and responsibility for optimizing the store's resources, sales, and results Ensure Lyko's concept by staying on top of campaigns and making sure signage and merchandising are spot on Take responsibility for proper staffing through scheduling and recruitment as needed About the position and your new workplace This is a permanent full-time position with an initial probation period. Who knows where it could lead if success continues at this pace? The "almost" new Fab Store is approximately 570 (!!!) m² in sales area and is located in the Kvarteret Giraffen shopping center in Kalmar. You'll report to Cecilia Andersson, Regional Manager. Who are you? As the positive and driven Store Manager you are, you know exactly what ingredients are needed to build the ultimate store and you understand how customer experience and business results go hand in hand. To thrive in this role, we believe you're an engaged energy spreader who is passionate about leadership and skilled at inspiring, listening, and WOW-ing customers. Most importantly, your key task is to help your employees succeed at the same thing. At Lyko, we believe most things are possible – and if they're not, we figure it out anyway ✨ You love everything beauty-related and enjoy sharing your knowledge. To be more specific, we'd love to see that you have: Previous leadership experience from retail and prior experience with store operations – preferably from large-scale operations A genuine interest in coaching employees and joy in seeing others develop A structured work approach and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel Clear and pedagogical communication skills that make the complex simple A humble attitude and comfort working both strategically and operationally – from managing supplier collaborations to working on the store floor Experience working toward set KPIs and see it as a given to follow them up regularly with your team It's a bonus if you've managed a larger team Why you'll thrive at Lyko Lyko is an energetic and warm workplace that's been named one of Sweden's best employers.
