We are now seeking a reliable and responsible treatment assistant for awake night shifts at Bia Stödboende. Bia Stödboende serves individuals aged 16-21 who need housing with adult support during a period in their lives. Supported housing is a model where a person lives in their own apartment and mostly has contact with staff during scheduled meetings. We accept placements from throughout Gothenburg City. Our mission is to provide young people with the right support so they become secure and independent adults when they leave us. We have approximately 40 apartments, half of which are located in a building in Gamlestaden, where the personnel office is also located, from which all staff operate. Our services meet people during an important time in their lives, a time of identity formation and independence training. Those who come to us need support in various life areas: relationships, information about society, mental/physical health, support in school and/or employment. Some of the young people have previously had problems with substance abuse or crime, and may at times need support in remaining drug-free or avoiding a return to a criminal lifestyle. What happens during a work shift can vary, and you will sometimes encounter unforeseen situations that require you to make professional assessments on the spot. You have a colleague working the sleeping on-call shift whom you can wake for help and support in more difficult situations, and you always have access to management.
