Bostadsbolaget is entering a period of extensive investments in our housing. To strengthen our project portfolio, plan, manage, and follow up on our major projects, we are now seeking a project coordinator. In this key role, you will contribute with structure, quality, and efficient working methods that help us carry out sustainable construction and create safe and attractive homes for our tenants. About the Role As a project coordinator, you will be the hub in the overall planning and monitoring of our project activities. You work both strategically and operatively. One day you analyze the project portfolio and prepare materials for an investment decision; the next day you work with our project managers to ensure quality control of forecasts, schedules, and project information. You will also help us develop our processes, system support, and common working methods. An important part of the assignment is to create overview and foresight. Our projects affect each other, our residential areas, and the organization's resources. Therefore, we need someone who sees both the individual project and the bigger picture. You will also be an important link between Property Development and Facilities Management when future projects and investment needs are to be planned and coordinated. The role includes, among other things: Coordinate and develop Bostadsbolaget's long-term project portfolio Prepare analyses and decision-making materials for project prioritization Coordinate the development of investment matters and quality assure decision-making materials Compile and analyze project information for reporting to management and the group Monitor key metrics, finances, schedules, and other indicators Develop project models, investment processes, and common procedures for monitoring and reporting Quality assure structure and information in our project and financial systems Identify improvement opportunities and drive the development of common working methods Collaborate broadly within Bostadsbolaget and the Framtidenkoncernen group. You will be part of the Reconstruction Unit, which is part of the Property Development department, and report to the Reconstruction Manager. You will work from our office on Engelbrektsgatan in central Gothenburg, while our projects are located in residential areas throughout the city. Who Are You? You enjoy creating structure in busy environments. You have the ability to look beyond the individual project and see connections between time, finances, resources, and execution. You enjoy analyzing information, discovering when something doesn't quite fit together, and turning it into clear materials and concrete improvements. You are driven, take your own initiatives, and enjoy collaborating with people. The role has many contact points, and you will both support, coordinate, ask questions, and sometimes challenge. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is communicative, unpretentious, and comfortable collaborating with others. We are looking for you who have Relevant post-secondary education in, for example, construction, real estate, urban development, project management, or economics, or alternatively experience that we consider equivalent Experience from construction or real estate operations Experience in project management, project monitoring, project coordination, or project support Very good understanding of project economics Very good analytical and administrative skills Good experience with Excel and working with digital tools, and you feel comfortable handling large amounts of information, analyzing discrepancies, and presenting conclusions in a clear manner Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is a merit if you have worked in a larger client or project organization and have experience with project portfolio management, investment processes, or project management systems.
