The placement of the finance function in Vålberg is a deliberate step toward a more operations-focused finance function, with closer ties to production, procurement, and logistics. You will have personnel responsibility for and lead a team of approximately seven employees, consisting of accountants and staff within order processing, who are located at the company's various production facilities. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and high-quality finance and order processes throughout the business. The role also involves close collaboration with production, procurement, and logistics, where you, together with the Operations Manager, who has a background in Business Control, will provide analysis, follow-up, and business support to strengthen the business's profitability and efficiency. Your main areas of responsibility include: Responsibility for the company's accounting, financial statements, annual reports, reporting, and cash flow. Lead and develop budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up processes as well as financial analyses. Ensure profitability management through product costing, inventory accounting, and key performance indicator monitoring. Provide operations-focused business support to production, procurement, and logistics. Actively develop and shape the finance function, systems, processes, and internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance. Lead the finance function and take responsibility for external contacts with auditors, banks, and partners.
