Karlstads Globala Gymnasium is an independent upper secondary school operated by the non-profit organization Medborgarskolan Mitt. The school offers four college-preparatory programs in economics, natural sciences, social sciences, and engineering sciences. The school has approximately 400 students. Karlstads Globala Gymnasium considers its most important tasks to be delivering high-quality education and offering its staff the best possible working environment. Operating as a "non-profit" organization means the school can invest substantial resources in staff and students. As one of our colleagues is relocating, we are seeking a full-time mathematics teacher: First priority: starting mid-October. Second priority: starting at the beginning of spring term 2027. The position is a fixed-term contract through June 2027. There may be a possibility of extension. Your responsibilities will include teaching Mathematics 1 and 2 as well as Continuation Course 1 within GY25. Within GY11, you will teach course 3b. In addition to teaching, you will perform standard teacher duties. It is an absolute requirement that you hold teaching certification. We do not accept applications from uncertified candidates.
