Production Manager / Foreman
Hello! We're glad this job posting has caught your interest! Matgard is embarking on an exciting journey forward, and we're now looking for you to lead our production locally at Nolgård, Hammarö. We are a local wholesaler with our own production facility that processes fresh salmon from Norway. We're looking for someone who thrives in a leadership role and has experience from production work. Food industry experience is not required but is a plus. You will work closely with your team members on-site and also play a key role in the company's development going forward. You will both lead the production work and collaborate closely with the sales department. You report to the Managing Director and Sales Manager in your role. We believe you have a background in food production where you're also used to being present in operations and being hands-on, while also being able to adjust the production plan when circumstances change. You can work constructively on improvements and development of both operations and staff. You are a good communicator and are used to giving clear instructions and motivating staff. You will also have full personnel responsibility for the production team, which includes follow-ups and ongoing employee conversations. The role includes the following: Personnel responsibility for the production team Overall responsibility for production Production planning both daily and strategically long-term Personnel planning based on production volume Ensuring quality together with the quality manager Technical understanding of production machinery and optimization based on raw materials Following up on maintenance and service routines in operations Responsibility for hygiene and cleaning routines Responsibility for running production in the most efficient way while always maintaining quality focus The position is available for commencement by agreement. Work Tasks You will have a varied role where you are responsible for the entire process – from finding the customer to booking and performing the work. Your work tasks will include: Seeking out and contacting potential customers Presenting and selling our services Selling facade cleaning, roof cleaning, and window washing Receiving and booking customer assignments Planning and structuring your assignments Performing facade cleaning, roof cleaning, and window washing at customers' locations Using our modern cleaning technology and equipment Working according to our safety procedures and work methods Maintaining contact with the customer before, during, and after completed work Ensuring that the work maintains high quality and that the customer is satisfied Of course, you will receive introduction and training in our products, our technology, work methods, and how to perform the services safely.
