The Information Management Unit holds overall responsibility for managing Region Gotland's shared information assets. The unit consists of two operations: registry and regional archive. The Registry is now seeking a temporary substitute until October 31, 2027, when a colleague will be on leave for studies. There may be an opportunity for extension. In the region-wide registry, six document controllers work, one of whom holds a coordinating role. The Registry works to support and advise Region Gotland's various operations across all departments. As a document controller, you will be located with the operation you primarily support, but your organizational affiliation remains with the shared registry function. The proximity to the operation you support has the advantage of making you a natural part of the operation's work processes and information flows. The work group is led by the head of the Information Management Unit. The unit head divides their time between the registry and the regional archive.
