Component Engineer Wanted!

Would you like to work with electronics and components in a technical environment where quality and precision are the focus? Our client is now seeking a component engineer who will work with identifying and verifying alternative electronic components. Here you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise in hardware and component verification together with experienced colleagues. Background Our client is a large international technology company that develops advanced solutions within automation, electrification, and industrial technology. The business is characterized by technical development and high demands for quality, reliability, and long-term sustainable solutions. In the company's electronic designs today, there are components that depend on a single supplier. To reduce this vulnerability, they actively work with so-called second source components – alternative components that can be used if the ordinary component becomes difficult to obtain or if the supplier encounters delivery problems. About the Position As a component engineer, you will become part of the client's electronics operations in Västerås. Your main focus will be to investigate, compare, and verify alternative electronic components to ensure that they meet the correct technical requirements and function in existing designs. The complexity of the work varies depending on the component. In some cases, verification can be performed through a careful comparison of datasheets and technical parameters, while other components require practical testing and verification against multiple products and designs. This assignment is part of our staffing services; you will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client in Västerås. What We Offer An opportunity to develop your expertise in electronics and component verification in a technically advanced operation. You will work together with skilled colleagues and have access to specialized expertise within the team when more complex issues arise. The role is therefore suitable for you if you have built a good foundation in electronics and now want to continue developing and broadening your technical expertise. Work Tasks In the role, you will, among other things: Identify and evaluate alternative electronic components, so-called second source components Read, analyze, and compare datasheets and technical specifications Compare critical parameters between existing and alternative components Assess how an alternative component functions in different electronic designs Perform tests and more extensive verifications when component complexity requires it Ensure that alternative components meet defined technical requirements Document performed verifications according to established processes We're Looking for You If You Have post-secondary education in electronics, electrical engineering, hardware, or equivalent field and have gained some relevant work experience. You may, for example, have worked as a hardware engineer, electronics engineer, electronics designer, component engineer, or test/verification engineer within electronics. We would like you to have around 1–3 years of relevant experience, but we place great emphasis on your technical foundation and your ability to quickly grasp new areas. Previous experience with second source work is not a requirement. To succeed in the role, we see that you have a good understanding of electronics and electronic components and feel comfortable reading and interpreting datasheets and technical specifications. Experience with, for example, component selection, PCB, circuit diagrams, testing, or verification is advantageous. As a person, you are careful, analytical, and well-organized. You find it easy to grasp new and complex work tasks and enjoy working methodically. Furthermore, we see that you have a positive and constructive attitude and appreciate collaborating and seeking help from colleagues when needed. Start: By agreement Scope: Full-time City: Västerås Selection: Ongoing Contact: [email protected] Apply for the position by filling in your information and attaching relevant documents. Once you have confirmed your account, you can log in to My Pages, where you have the opportunity to create and complete your candidate profile. An updated profile helps us match you to this and future positions that suit your expertise and experience. We work with ongoing selection and may therefore move forward with candidates before the announcement has closed. Please submit your application as soon as possible. We do not accept applications via email. If you have questions about the position, however, you are warmly welcome to contact us at [email protected].

In this role you will have stimulating work and, over time, you can be sponsored to pursue specialist training in Emergency Care. Job Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you will work with a unique range of patients – from newborns to people at the end of life. Working within our operations will provide you with personal development as you encounter many different types of situations where you use both your medical knowledge and life experience. You work in a team together with doctors and nursing assistants in the assessment, prioritization, and care of critically ill patients. Your Introduction You will receive training on one clinic at a time, and once you feel confident at one clinic you move on to the next. Once you are trained in all three clinics, you will be trained to receive patients at 36B (infection entrance) and work in triage with an initial assessment. After that you progress to emergency calls. Before placement in emergency calls, there is both emergency call training and TRSS (acute trauma care) which help prepare you for the role. We also have a position we call Frontnurse, who sits at reception and does an initial assessment of where the patient should seek care. There you can both direct patients to the emergency department's different clinics but also refer them to, for example, primary care or other clinics. About the Workplace Working at the Emergency Department involves broad competency development since you meet patients within many different specialties.
