Do you want to be part of developing the future of digital production? We are now looking for a Production Developer with MES experience for an exciting assignment at an industrial operation in Västerås that is in the midst of a comprehensive digitalization journey.
You will become part of a team working with factory IT and digitalization, where the focus is on strengthening productivity, quality, and traceability in production. The MES implementation is in its final phase and you will have an important role in ensuring that the solution creates real value for the operation. You will be employed as a consultant at Consensus and work on assignment at the customer location in Västerås.
About the Role
In this role, you will work closely with production technicians, engineers, and operations specialists to develop and improve working methods, processes, and system support. You will be a bridge between operations and IT, contributing with both analysis, configuration, and consulting.
Examples of tasks:
Review and further develop process and data maps
Model and configure the MES system
Conduct testing and ensure solution quality
Capture operational requirements and translate them into functional solutions
Support projects and operations on matters related to production digitalization
Collaborate with engineering teams in both automated and manual production
Who You Are
We are looking for someone who thrives in the space between technology and operations. You are analytical, solution-oriented, and enjoy understanding how people, processes, and systems work together. At the same time, you have a pragmatic approach and are driven by getting things to work in practice.
We see that you have:
Experience with requirements analysis and operational systems with a focus on MES
Good understanding of operational workflows and digitalization in manufacturing industry
Ability to work independently and handle complex processes
Good communication skills and an ease in building collaborations
It is a merit if you also have:
Technical college or university education
Experience with OEE, production monitoring, or production data
Knowledge within programming, industrial IT, or automation
