Your Responsibilities In the role of wax assembly technician, you will work with assembling wax components onto a rod, which is the starting point for the entire casting process. The work is performed manually and requires great precision, patience, and the ability to follow instructions in detail. You work methodically and with high precision, as your work lays the foundation for quality in the subsequent steps of the process. The role also includes working as an operator with wax machines, where you are responsible for monitoring and operating the machines according to given instructions. The work is largely performed sitting and involves fine motor manual work in a calm but concentration-demanding environment. In the machine operator work, however, it is standing work. You will be part of a larger team and report to a team leader. Your responsibilities include: Assemble wax components onto rods through manual work. Work as an operator with wax machines and handle them according to instructions. Follow instructions, drawings, and images for correct assembly. Perform visual inspection of wax components and completed wax trees. Prepare wax components for assembly through dimension checks and inspection of product defects. Repair defects with repair wax or scrape off material as needed. Ensure that components are correctly assembled before the next process step. The position is based on a two-shift schedule.
