Nurse at Dialysis Clinic in Helsingborg
Make a difference. Every day Are you looking for a stimulating and meaningful job where the patient is always at the center? Do you want to be part of a team built on collaboration and commitment? Then this might be the position for you! Dialysis is an exciting field in constant development where the interplay between medical technology and nursing care is of great importance. We have a planned operation where chronically ill kidney patients come two to four times a week to receive their blood dialysis treatment. We also provide acute dialysis on both ICU and HIA as needed. Most of our patients are returning and over a long period, which means we create long-term relationships with a focus on helping them achieve the greatest possible quality of life. This is done by designing the dialysis treatment based on the individual's needs and means that we are increasingly working towards person-centered care where patients are involved in their own treatment. We constantly strive to improve our operations together with our employees and therefore gladly set aside time and space for individual development. We are also open to suggestions from our employees on appropriate measures for skills development. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In your role as a nurse, you lead and are responsible for your patients' dialysis treatment. Work duties also include nursing care, medical care, and patient education/counseling. The department includes a range of different professional categories such as nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, medical secretaries, dietitians, physiotherapists, patient support specialists, and social workers, where we all work together based on our respective expertise for the patient's benefit. You will receive individual introduction for at least eight weeks for handling the dialysis machine as well as care of dialysis patients. Beyond that, there are many different areas of responsibility with opportunities for specialization and, if needed, courses/training. Evening and weekend shifts occur. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you if you are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. The position requires that you have Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. If you have previous knowledge and/or experience with dialysis, we see this as a merit. It is also advantageous if you have several years of experience working as a nurse.
