1 position(s). Hjo Municipality is seeking an engaged teaching assistant for a Special Education Group at Guldkroks School 7-9. The Special Education Group consists of two certified teachers and two teaching assistants. The Principal of Guldkroks School 7-9 is responsible for the operations and its staff. Close collaboration with the school's student wellness team. Here you will get a workplace with proximity to most of what our beautiful wooden town has to offer and within walking distance to the rest of the 7-9 school. Job Responsibilities Daily work with students involves not only highly structured and adapted instruction but also collaboration with the rest of the school and its teachers. Working in a special education group means being prepared to go beyond traditional teaching methods if necessary for students to succeed in their studies. In your role as a teacher in our special education group, you will be an important adult figure for our students. You will work closely with colleagues, and joint planning among you is important. You will teach, guide, mentor, and support students both individually and in small groups within the special education group. Close contact with guardians is also an important element and task. Qualifications and Competencies We want you to have knowledge of pedagogical and technical aids and to see aids as a natural part of your work. We would like to see that you have previous work experience in a special education group or similar activities. As a person, we see that you are a secure and clear leader who gives students the opportunity to develop according to their abilities. You are clear and structured and enjoy working collaboratively. You willingly bring ideas and suggestions on how to develop the activities. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
