About the Amphibious Battalion The amphibious battalion is one of two amphibious battalions in Sweden that is developing toward Amphibious Battalion 2030, where continuous introduction of new equipment and further training of personnel is conducted, which in turn creates new or enhanced capabilities across all domains in which the battalion operates. Overall Work Tasks In your role as a professional officer at the 5th Amphibious Battalion, you will: train and guide your colleagues within your area of expertise develop the combat unit train and exercise in your combat position further develop yourself within your professional area participate in work teams at platoon, company, or battalion level lead activities within your function Requirements Valid and relevant officer degree Class B driver's license Meritorious Competencies and Training Background in the amphibious corps Competence in air defense systems Competence in ground combat Competence in anti-ship warfare Competence in nautical operations Competence in indirect fire Competence in technical service Competence in communications systems Competence in medical care Competence in logistics Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is organized, solution-oriented with the ability to work systematically at a high pace.
