The surrounding area consists of apartment buildings and single-family homes as well as various service buildings such as a swimming pool, ice rink, library, museum, schools, and beautiful park and forest areas. It is within walking distance to the city center and schools such as Hedskolan and Sjöparksskolan. The preschool has four age-divided departments: two departments with 1-3 year-olds, one department for 4-year-olds, and one for 5-year-olds. Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you will together with the rest of your work team carry out activities planned according to the Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö). Qualifications Childcare worker certification or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language act, Gällivare Municipality is an administrative municipality for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit in applications for employment with Gällivare Municipality.
