Together we make a difference, for all of society. About the Role The Region & Grid business area works on projects and maintenance of regional and grid transmission lines throughout the country. Our customers are primarily electricity network operators. In the role of Business Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and operational development and will become a key person in meeting the significantly increasing demand for electricity network-related services. You will have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialist expertise and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business efficiency. Together with your managers, you drive the development of the operation, strengthen customer relationships, and create conditions for continued growth and profitability. You will play a decisive role in sizing and developing the operation for the future, where competence supply, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results and business-oriented operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area and close contact with our customers. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring safe working methods and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management team. Requirements Solid experience from contracting and/or the energy industry – you may, for example, have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a leading position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meritorious) Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English To be successful in the role, you are business-oriented, customer-focused, and drive results through collaboration in your own management team as well as in the organization as a whole. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high participation. Your communication skills are very good, and as a leader you are clear, attentive, and a secure support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely while also being present via phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week), and a class B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
