Dietitian - Primary Care Karlstad
We are now seeking a dedicated dietitian for the Dietitian Clinic in Primary Care, Karlstad. Your Workplace The Dietitian Clinic in Primary Care consists of eleven dietitians and two healthcare administrators, along with our unit manager who has a background as a dietitian. Referrals come primarily from healthcare centers throughout the region, and dietitians are physically located at several of these centers to be close to patients and other staff. In addition to working with patient groups at the healthcare centers, we have several exciting collaborations with other units within the region. Together with midwifery services, all dietitians work with the LEVA method. Individual dietitians work on meal projects within forensic psychiatry and at our nearby care units (NÄVA) in Säffle and Kristinehamn. Your Responsibilities As a dietitian at the primary care clinic, you will work with individual nutritional treatment according to the Nutritional Care Process (NCP) with adults 18 years and older. Common diagnoses we encounter are malnutrition, type 2 diabetes, IBS, and obesity. We also offer the LEVA method, a weight loss program for postpartum women. The treatment has a specific structure where physical visits are combined with frequent digital contact through the Support and Treatment Platform. You have the freedom to structure your own schedule for your workday and vary between physical visits, digital visits, and group visits. We prioritize in-person meetings with both patients and colleagues, but the opportunity exists for up to 20% remote work. This position is a temporary contract until June 2027, with the possibility of extension.
