Your Workplace
Skin Care in Värmland has regional responsibility. Outpatient services are provided at the Skin and STI Clinic at Central Hospital in Karlstad. The department has treatment units at five different locations in the region. The clinic has 46 employees.
Skin Care in Region Värmland offers specialist care in dermatology and venereology for the entire region. The department is characterized by high medical expertise, close collaboration between professions, and a strong focus on patient needs. We have physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and healthcare administrators working in a modern and development-oriented environment.

Your Responsibilities
As Assistant Nursing Director, you are an important part of the clinic's leadership and work closely with the Director and Operations Manager. You have operational responsibility and contribute to ensuring a good work environment, high quality, and efficient operational development.
Your main responsibilities include:
Leadership and coordination of daily operations.
Scheduling.
Orientation and professional development of staff.
Work environment management.
Operational planning and monitoring of goals and results.
Participation in improvement and development work.
Collaboration with internal and external healthcare partners.
The nursing responsibilities include outpatient work such as assisting with examinations, outpatient procedures, managing your own nursing clinics, and work with telephone consultation and administration.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who:
are a licensed registered nurse.
have experience working in healthcare.
have good communication skills and a genuine interest in leadership.
It is an advantage if you have:
previous management or leadership experience.
experience with change and improvement work, as well as scheduling.
leadership training.
To succeed in this role, you are confident, clear, and present in your leadership. You are collaboration-oriented and have a good ability to build and develop relationships. You are also well-organized with a good ability to prioritize, and you are engaged in development and quality matters. You are also responsive and unpretentious, with a clear focus on what is best for the department.
