Your Workplace
Children and Youth Rehabilitation serves children and young people up to age 17 with lasting, congenital or acquired functional disabilities and their families. The children and young people may have mobility disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities. The operation is based on interdisciplinary teamwork where medical, psychological, educational and social expertise work together. Our approach is person-centered, which means we work to ensure that the child participates in planning, implementation and evaluation of interventions.
Here you will work with driven and engaged colleagues. We work systematically with workplace environment improvements and place significant focus on orientation and mentorship of new employees. We also conduct structured development work with a focus on evidence-based group interventions and an expanded range of digital services.

Your Tasks
We offer you a broad and varied position that involves helping children, young people and their parents achieve the best possible conditions for a well-functioning daily life. Supporting the child's environment in various ways to create good conditions for development and health.
As a psychologist, you contribute important expertise to the team around the patient, and in your role you will conduct psychological assessments, provide psychological support, counseling, supervision and treatment to children, young people and parents based on the individual's functional disability and its consequences for the young person's development and everyday situation. These interventions can be provided both individually and in groups. Psychological evaluations are also part of your responsibilities.
In addition, you participate in planning interventions together with children, young people and parents, as well as other important people in the patient's network. An important part of the work is collaborating with other actors such as the municipality's student health services, preschool/school, child psychiatry, pediatrics, social services and others. Method and development work are also included in your tasks.
When you start as a new employee with us, we offer you both mentorship with an experienced psychologist and support in your ongoing work.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and have strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
To thrive with us and succeed in your role, we see that you have good collaboration skills, a flexible approach and a good ability to work independently when needed. You enjoy working in a team and are secure and stable as a person, with a good ability to understand different situations from different perspectives.
A B-level driver's license is required, as work travel is part of the position.
Desirable qualifications include:
Experience working with children and young people with functional disabilities and work in rehabilitation.
Experience leading groups, for example in training about functional disabilities and their impact on individuals.
Experience working in teams.
