Job Responsibilities
As a Grade 6 teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the curriculum and students' individual needs and circumstances. You teach multiple subjects and work to create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment that promotes students' academic development.
You work in close collaboration with the colleague in the other Grade 6 class as well as an additional teacher who works in both classes. Together you plan, develop, and follow up on instruction to create good conditions for student learning and equitable education.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone who holds teacher certification with the authority to teach Grades 4–6 in Swedish, Swedish as a Second Language, Mathematics, and English. It is an advantage if you also have the authority to teach Science subjects. To thrive and succeed in this role, you are someone who builds trust through a calm and professional approach even in challenging situations. You easily adapt your working methods based on the organization's and students' needs while recognizing opportunities when circumstances change. Since you will be working closely with colleagues in instruction, you value collaboration, contribute ideas and experience, and build positive relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike. You plan and organize your work thoughtfully and create clear structures that give students a sense of security and good conditions for development.
