Your Workplace
Vårdcentralen Gripen is centrally located in Karlstad, just a stone's throw from Klarälven, Värmlands Museum, and the city's beautiful parks. We are Värmland's largest health center with approximately 19,000 listed patients and close to 60 dedicated employees. Here we work together with the goal of creating safe, accessible, and warm care—both for our patients and for each other.
You'll meet a welcoming workplace with broad expertise and good teamwork. We have an experienced nursing team with extensive specialist competence and a stable physician group consisting of both specialists and resident physicians. At Gripen, we also have a well-functioning counseling clinic with social workers and psychologists, and together with nursing assistants, foot care therapists, and care administrators, we work closely together in teams.
We collaborate with Karlstad Municipality and have benefits assessors on site as well as pharmacists who support medication reviews. This creates excellent conditions for close, person-centered work.

Your Responsibilities
As a district nurse/nurse with us, you'll have varied and meaningful work with great opportunities to influence your workday.
Responsibilities include telephone advice, patient consultations, teamwork around patients, and staffing of the urgent care clinic for patients with acute needs. There is also an opportunity for a shared position at the on-call center for those who appreciate variety in their work and flexibility in scheduling.
We actively work to develop our operations and find smart, sustainable working methods with high quality and good accessibility. With us, you have a central role and we value ideas, initiative, and participation.
Your Knowledge and Competence
We seek someone trained as a district nurse or nurse who wants to work in an operation where collaboration and good conduct are natural parts of daily life.
It is a merit if you have training and/or experience in areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, or dementia.
We believe you are a positive and confident person who enjoys meeting people in different situations and has good empathetic abilities. You work independently, take your own initiatives, and exercise good judgment in your statements, actions, and decisions in your daily work. At the same time, you appreciate working with others, contribute to a good atmosphere, and want to actively help develop the operation together with your colleagues.
