JOB

Work Supervisor, Solna Municipality

Do you want to help create pathways to employment and self-sufficiency? Jobbfabriken in Solna Municipality is seeking two dedicated work supervisors who want to support people in their development toward the job market through coaching, practical guidance, and individualized support. About Us In Solna Municipality, we work according to the Solna Model where the individual's needs and the business sector's skills requirements go hand in hand. Within the Employment and Business Development department, we work strategically to help more Solna residents achieve employment, education, and self-sufficiency. The department consists of about thirty committed employees working with employment issues, adult education, and business development. Now Jobbfabriken is seeking two work supervisors for our work with the new activity requirement for people receiving financial assistance. Jobbfabriken's mission is to strengthen individuals' opportunities to approach the job market through support, guidance, and developmental activities. As a work supervisor, you will play a central role in supporting people on their path toward an independent life. Our Offer With us, you get the opportunity to work in a modern municipal operation in one of Sweden's most expansive municipalities. You will be part of a dedicated work team characterized by collaboration, a desire for development, and a shared focus on creating value for Solna residents. We offer meaningful and varied work where you contribute every day to strengthening people's opportunities for employment, education, and self-sufficiency. What Does the Work Involve? As a work supervisor, you work closely with participants from a holistic perspective where coaching, practical guidance, and individual support are combined. You meet people with different conditions and needs and adapt interventions based on each person's situation and next steps toward working life. Participants may be at different distances from the job market. For some, support involves creating structure and routines in everyday life, strengthening motivation, developing work capacity, or working with health and physical activity. For others, it involves preparing for or supporting the transition to internships, studies, or work. You work both individually and in groups and are present in participants' activities to create progression and development. In this role, you are responsible for, among other things: Guiding participants in practical and work-like activities with a focus on employment, studies, and self-sufficiency. You plan, conduct, and follow up on activities that strengthen participants' work capacity, independence, health, and work-life skills. You also support participants in internships and other employment-focused interventions and collaborate with relevant actors to create the best possible conditions for development. An important part of the assignment is also to document and follow participants' progression and advancement toward established goals. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who is comfortable meeting people and who enjoys a role where you work closely with participants. You have the ability to build trust, foster motivation, and at the same time be clear and structured. You are flexible, solution-focused, and comfortable with workdays that may vary. You see people's possibilities and strengths and have the ability to translate goals into concrete steps forward. To succeed in this role, you also need to be collaboration-oriented and able to build good relationships with both participants, colleagues, and external partners. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education in, for example, social work, behavioral science, pedagogy, public health, employment issues, or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Experience leading groups and activities. Experience working with people who need support to approach the job market, education, or self-sufficiency. Merits It is a merit if you have: Education in coaching, motivational interviewing (MI), or Supported Employment. Experience working in municipal employment services. Experience collaborating with, for example, social services, the Swedish Public Employment Service, or other relevant actors.
