We are now recruiting several staff members to our Recreation Library who, together with us, want to encourage physical activity! About Us Solna Municipality's Recreation Library is like a regular library, but instead of books you can borrow sports and recreation equipment completely free of charge, year-round! Solna Municipality is now seeking hourly employees who want to be part of our work to make sports, recreation, and outdoor equipment accessible to more Solna residents. The Recreation Library is centrally located in Solna Centrum. What Does the Work Involve? The work involves lending out recreation equipment and helping visitors find equipment that suits their interests and needs. The position includes work every third weekend as well as certain afternoons and early evenings. The scope of the position varies depending on your availability and our needs and is suitable to combine with studies or other part-time work. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education with passing grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics. Experience in recreation or sports is a merit. experience in one or more relevant sports, such as skiing experience in customer service and customer interactions good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience from a recreation library/recreation equipment bank a driver's license. You should be service-oriented and responsible. You enjoy meeting people and are very committed to providing all our visitors with good service. You have a good ability to take initiative and are enterprising. You work in a structured manner and at the same time have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability for the position. About the Application The position is a fixed-term employment (special fixed-term contract) with a start date by agreement. The employment runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027.
