At Bergshamraskolan in Solna municipality, you'll have the opportunity to teach during school breaks for students in grades 7-9 and, as needed, during regular school terms. About Us The Department of Children and Education's operations span the entire municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, upper secondary school, adapted primary and secondary education, after-school centers, central administration, facilities management, and mother tongue instruction. Bergshamraskolan is a school with approximately 410 students in grades F-9. The school is located near Edsviken and Ulriksdal Palace Park, which means we are close to nature while also being just 12 minutes by subway from central Stockholm. Here we actively work with structures and methods to create a sense of participation in the school. We are a pleasant school where we work together with colleagues in a welcoming environment with proximity to swimming facilities, nature, and sports fields. What Does the Work Involve? In this role, you will: Plan and deliver teaching adapted to students' needs and interests. Create a safe and stimulating learning environment where each student feels seen and heard. Work together with colleagues to share experiences and develop teaching methods. Follow up on and evaluate students' academic progress to support their learning in the best way possible. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating positive learning experiences and who thrives in a dynamic and supportive school environment. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who: Have completed or are currently pursuing teacher education Have experience with pedagogical work in schools Have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. We consider it advantageous to have completed or be pursuing teacher education for grades 7-9. You are a confident person with good pedagogical insight who can lead groups and individuals. As a substitute teacher, you work independently and are comfortable managing a classroom situation on your own. Like us, you have a strong commitment to creating situations where students succeed.
