The clinic is organized into multiprofessional teams working with the patient's needs at the center. Work follows a modified Case Management model. Treatment is provided individually, in groups, and together with the patient's relatives. With approximately 6,000 patient visits annually, the Surgical Clinic is the largest surgical clinic in the region and plays a central role in the surgical care chain. Within the Surgical Clinic, there is also an administrative unit with medical secretaries, which provides central support in the operation and has an important coordinating function in patient flows.
