The Faculty of Medicine is one of the largest faculties at Umeå University and attracts many students with a comprehensive range of programs in medicine, dentistry, health, and care. The Department of Medical and Translational Biology provides instruction in, among other things, the Dental Program. We are now seeking approximately 17 teaching assistants to participate in anatomy instruction for our students. Duties The work duties consist mainly of teaching and serving as instructors for anatomy demonstrations and practical exercises. Eligibility Employment as a teaching assistant according to the Higher Education Ordinance Chapter 5. Eligible for employment as a teaching assistant is a student who is admitted to studies at the basic or advanced level at the university or higher education institution (HF Chapter 5 §10). Qualifications Applicants must be approved in all courses in the Dental Program or Medical Program through term 3, and must have completed the course "Organ System Structure and Function" or "Oral and Craniofacial Biology (OCB)" with a passing grade. Terms We are now seeking approximately 17 teaching assistants for spring term 2027. The position corresponds to 5–20% employment for 2–4 months by agreement with the supervising instructor. Employment must be undertaken in parallel with studies. Salary according to the teaching assistant agreement.
