The Psychiatric Clinic at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå is the largest psychiatric clinic in Norrland with over 400 employees. We have three general psychiatric inpatient wards, forensic psychiatric services, and several specialized outpatient and treatment units. The Psychiatric Clinic works toward equitable care for all and nursing care based on research and clinical experience. The Psychiatric Clinic has moved to a newly constructed building where the care environment will be characterized by the importance of the physical environment in promoting health. The living and work environment is supported by modern technology and research, which will be evident in lighting and communication systems. The clinic will be climate-smart through self-sufficiency in electricity and heating, among other things.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Psychosis Clinic, which serves patients with schizophrenia and schizophrenia-like conditions between 18 and 60 years old. The clinic is organized into multiprofessional teams working with the patient's needs at the center. Work follows a modified Case Management model. Treatment is provided individually, in groups, and together with the patient's relatives.
We collaborate daily with various actors such as social services, primary care, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and the Swedish Public Employment Service. At the clinic, we provide clinic visits, home visits, and outreach services. Our work offers varied and stimulating tasks, and through our teamwork we make a difference. We have several positive and competent colleagues who together represent broad knowledge and experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a registered nurse with us, you contribute your knowledge and dedication to help people feel secure.
Your responsibilities as a registered nurse include acting as a clinic nurse at certain times, providing telephone advice, telephone follow-up, and coordination. You are responsible for medication management, monitoring pharmacological treatment, specimen collection, scheduling annual checkups, and conducting conversations based on patient needs.
You provide somatic expertise and contribute a holistic perspective on medical, somatic, social, and psychiatric matters. Work takes place both at the clinic and in the patient's home environment through home visits with a colleague.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a licensed registered nurse with an interest in psychiatric care. Experience with psychiatric care, outpatient care, or other health and medical services is a plus but not required.
You are comfortable making decisions and easily adapt to changed circumstances. The work involves many contact points, so we emphasize the importance of strong communication skills, good demeanor, and good collaboration abilities.
You have basic knowledge of computer work and good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish.
