We are now seeking senior structural analysis engineers for assignments with customers in the defense industry, automotive industry, aerospace, and other advanced sectors. This is an opportunity for you to work close to the technology, contribute to qualified projects, and at the same time gain greater freedom in how you want to develop. About the Role As a senior structural analysis engineer, you will work on technically complex projects where the focus is on analysis, simulation, and verification of structures and mechanical systems. The assignments vary depending on your experience, specialist competence, and ambition, but include strength calculations, FEM analyses, model development, evaluation of results, and technical recommendations to design and development teams. You will work on assignments with high demands for quality, accuracy, and technical understanding. For the right person, there is an opportunity to take greater technical responsibility, work on more mission-critical projects, and influence both the setup and direction over time. We are looking for someone who truly appreciates technology and would rather spend time on qualified engineering work than internal administration and unnecessary fluff. Your Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent, and with at least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM-based computational work. You are used to working independently, understand the role of analysis in the development chain, and can translate theory into practical value in complex project environments. You have likely worked with structural strength, dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, or similar topics and feel confident in building, conducting, and interpreting analyses. You thrive in technical environments where competence is valued highly and where you can contribute with both specialist knowledge and judgment. Requirements Degree in civil engineering or engineering from a university of applied sciences within a relevant technical field At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM Good understanding of strength of materials and mechanics Experience working on technically advanced development projects Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility Good communication skills Professional proficiency in Swedish and/or English, spoken and written Meritorious Experience from the defense industry, automotive industry, aerospace, or other advanced industries Experience with tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, or similar Knowledge in dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, crash, composites, or non-linear analyses Programming experience in Python or Matlab Experience in consulting roles or customer-facing technical work Experience working in security-classified or regulatory-controlled environments What We Offer We offer you the opportunity to work on qualified assignments in technically strong environments where your expertise is at the center. With us, you not only get access to interesting projects, but also flexibility in how you want to work and develop. We work long-term with senior engineers and want to create setups that work both professionally and personally. Further, you will be offered: - Qualified assignments within technically advanced industry - Opportunity to influence what types of assignments you take on - Flexibility in setup, for example employment, consulting solution, or your own company - A long-term platform for continued development - Access to network, business opportunities, and relevant support around the assignments - Market-rate terms Location: Malmö and surrounding area Scope: Full-time or by agreement Working Hours: According to assignment Salary: By agreement Start Date: By agreement We work to match senior engineering expertise with qualified assignments at companies within technically advanced industries. Our focus is on creating the right match between person, competence, and assignment, rather than forcing candidates into standardized processes. Through our network and our understanding of both technology and business, we create opportunities for engineers who want to work on more qualified projects, with better terms and greater impact. For some, it is about the next really strong assignment. For others, it is about greater freedom or a step toward a more independent setup.

Interim Water Management Officer

The County Administrative Board of Scania is a state authority at the regional level responsible for state administration in the county. We work to ensure that national goals are implemented in the county based on regional conditions. Within our assignments, we work with advisory services, permits and supervision, plans and strategies. We manage natural areas and distribute financial support. We collaborate with actors throughout the county. We have approximately 600 employees and have offices in Malmö and Kristianstad. Description The County Administrative Board is now seeking an interim water management officer for the water unit at the Department of Nature and Water. Your workplace will be at our office in Malmö. The employment is a temporary position for 12 months with a possible opportunity for extension. Start date as soon as possible according to agreement. The Water Unit works closely with the Fisheries and Restoration Unit and the Water Strategy Unit. Together, we work broadly with water issues in the county, including restoration of aquatic environments, fisheries, supervision of water activities, contributions to local water care projects (LOVA), liming of acidified waters, protection of drinking water, and development of knowledge and planning materials, environmental monitoring, and water management. Our common task is to protect, restore, and develop our aquatic environments and to contribute to the fulfillment of environmental and fisheries policy objectives. The units together have approximately 40 employees with different educational backgrounds. Among us work, for example, limnologists, marine biologists, fisheries biologists, physical geographers, environmental scientists, nature conservation engineers, agronomists, and geologists. Duties The Water Unit handles various water activity cases under the Environmental Code. Our cases can involve many different types of activities affecting water: landfill, excavation such as in water course restoration, hydroelectric power plants, land drainage, drainage projects, coastal erosion, major infrastructure projects, water protection, and extraction of surface or groundwater for drinking water or irrigation. You will primarily work with groundwater issues, but will also contribute to the Water Unit's other areas of work as needed. In this role, you will have many contacts, including with municipalities and municipal companies, businesses, property owners, consultants, SGU, SGI, the Swedish Transport Administration, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Board of Agriculture, the Land and Environmental Court, the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management, other county administrative boards, and the public. The work includes handling consultation matters, participation in permit reviews in the Land and Environmental Court, supervision under the Environmental Code, collaboration in major infrastructure projects, and handling notifications from the public. A large part of the work involves groundwater extraction and its impact on protected areas and the surrounding environment, for example at quarries and irrigation extraction sites. You will also work on issues related to water protection areas, water supply, and other groundwater-related matters. In this role, you can also serve as internal support within these areas. As an employee at the County Administrative Board, you have three roles: employee, colleague, and civil servant. As an employee, you represent the authority; together with your colleagues, you contribute to the overall result; and as a civil servant, you create social value based on your professional expertise. Qualifications The County Administrative Board seeks to have employees with different characteristics, circumstances, and life experiences. The interaction between employees' differences and similarities is one of the County Administrative Board's success factors. We are looking for someone with a university degree in geology or other natural science university education with a focus on geology and groundwater. You have experience working with environmental and quantity-related groundwater issues. You should also have knowledge of permits and supervision under the Environmental Code. It is an advantage to have authority experience in this area. A B-level driving license is required for this position. As an employee at the County Administrative Board of Scania, you have the ability to work both independently and in a team. You are structured, can take your own initiatives, and have a good ability to prioritize and communicate in an educational manner. You must be confident and secure in your authority role, as the cases you will handle are often complex with many conflicting interests. You have the ability to place issues in a broader context, with connections to other subject matters, and have an environmental commitment. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Security Classification The County Administrative Board has an important coordinating role in societal disturbances, and therefore we place high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. Some of our positions are security classified and may also involve wartime deployment at the authority, which means that security vetting must be conducted before an employment decision is made. In some cases, Swedish citizenship is required in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
