Support Pedagogue at Knutsväg – Make a Real Difference!

About the Workplace Our BMSS in Olofstorp is a newly constructed and modern facility designed with the needs of our target group in mind and with a strong focus on safety, structure, and well-being for both residents and staff. The facility is part of a larger residential complex that has recently been expanded and consists of two fully functional apartments with separate entrances and a shared staff area that creates excellent conditions for collaboration, reflection, and work continuity. The work is characterized by low-affect care and individualized methods where predictability, stability, and continuity are central elements. Through a clear holistic perspective, housing, support, activities, and social contexts are integrated into daily life, while environmental transitions are limited to reduce stress and create safety. The target group consists of individuals with extensive support needs, often with autism and challenging behaviors. The residence combines independent, fully functional housing with close access to staff support and the opportunity to participate in daily activities directly adjacent to home, which contributes to structure, context, and improved quality of life. Job Responsibilities We are now recruiting two support pedagogues for our facilities on Knutsväg in Olofstorp. One position is located in the newly constructed Supported Living (BMSS), where you have the opportunity to be involved from the start and actively contribute to shaping work methods and structure in a brand new facility. The other position is located in our existing unit, where you will become part of an established team with well-functioning routines and solid experience with the target group. Together with an already employed support pedagogue, you will form a team of three support pedagogues working closely together with equivalent assignments and a shared approach. Through collaboration and shared structure, you ensure quality, continuity, and a consistent pedagogical approach in both facilities. As a support pedagogue, you play a central role in the facility and work closely with residents on both supportive and pedagogical tasks. You actively contribute to developing, quality-assuring, and following up on work methods, including working with implementation plans, planning and conducting activities, and documenting according to applicable legislation. Your role also includes coaching and supporting colleagues in pedagogical methods and collaborating with family members, habilitation services, and other internal and external stakeholders. You have the opportunity to collaborate with other pedagogues and method developers and, together with the unit manager, be involved in shaping and further developing the facility's pedagogical work. Qualifications For the position of support pedagogue, you must have post-secondary specialization in the area of disability services comprising at least 200 YH credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination thereof equivalent to at least four full-time semesters of study. Alternatively, you must have at least 60 higher education credits combined with at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education must include relevant credits in areas such as behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and psychiatric care, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. The position requires experience working with individuals with intellectual variations and good knowledge of low-affect care, alternative and augmentative communication, applicable regulations regarding coercion and restraint measures, social documentation, as well as autism and challenging behaviors. You have experience with a structured approach where clarity, continuity, and evidence-based methods are a natural part of everyday work, and you are experienced with digital documentation, for example in Treserva. As a person, you have a respectful and professional demeanor and always base your actions on equal value for all. The role requires that you can balance different demands and make well-founded decisions. You are positive with a genuine commitment to people with disabilities and the facility's development. It is a merit if you have experience leading meetings, coaching work groups, and actively contributing to the development of shared work methods. Systems Developer with Focus on AI and Data Analytics

Description We are looking for an experienced systems developer who wants to build the administration's data platform and our AI-driven services. You work hands-on in Python and SQL, you model data so it can be trusted, and you take services all the way to deployment in containers and the cloud. Right now we're building both the platform and the working methods around it. You come with experience from environments where development and operations are connected. Do you want to be part of building one of Sweden's most curious and responsible AI and data functions in the public sector with your hands on the code—join us! About the Development and Transformation Unit We are a cross-functional team where development leaders, analysts, communicators, and technology specialists work together. Our mission is to establish modern working methods, build capabilities, and deliver solutions that work in everyday practice from strategy to execution. You'll thrive here if you want to create something new, test, learn, and scale what works. Responsibilities As a systems developer in our team, you will: Develop applications and APIs in Python, primarily FastAPI, against our own data repositories and the city's systems. Build and further develop the data platform's analytics layer and semantic layer: modeling, metrics and dimensions defined in one place, data contracts and tests, version-controlled as code. Build and maintain ETL and ELT flows against both existing SQL Server environments and Intraservices lakehouse, with scheduling and error handling that can be debugged. Containerize and deploy services in OpenShift, with automated flows via CI/CD and GitOps, logging, and alerts. Take AI support from prototype to manageable service: integrations with language models, RAG against the administration's own material, quality evaluation, cost control, and traceability. Document architectural decisions, operational instructions, and runbooks as part of the work, and participate in code review and pair programming. Translate the organization's needs into technical requirements together with stakeholders. Work closely with CTO and architecture, analysts, and Intraservice as platform providers. A typical day might involve modeling a metric with an analyst in the morning, then debugging a pipeline in the afternoon, reviewing a colleague's code, and rolling out a new version of a service. The role shifts between the architectural and the practical, and between building new things and making existing services more stable. You don't train your own models and you don't work with image recognition; the focus is on data, integration, and operations. Qualifications Requirements: University education relevant to the position, or education and experience that we collectively consider equivalent. Several years of professional-level systems development experience in Python, in code that a team will maintain further. Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling: you can explain why a model looks the way it does and take full responsibility for it. Experience with containerization using Docker and practical experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift. Experience building automated flows for testing and deployment yourself, in GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent, with relevant version control. Experience working in a team around a shared codebase, where multiple people develop, review, and deploy the same services. Good technical understanding of AI and generative AI and how it's applied in an organization. Good Swedish in speech and writing. Merits: Experience with semantic layers and metrics layers, for example Cube, dbt SQLMesh, Semantic Layer, or Lightdash. Practical experience with LLM integration: RAG, embeddings, response evaluation, and cost management. Experience with lakehouse and analytics environments, for example Databricks, Delta Lake, DuckDB, or Iceberg. Experience with Argo CD and Kustomize or Helm. Experience with AI and digitalization in the public sector, and with legal aspects related to data and AI (GDPR, the AI Regulation, and public access and confidentiality). Experience with data-driven solutions, BI, and decision support, for example Metabase or Power BI. Personal Competencies: Self-directed and responsible: you take a task from design to operations and are comfortable even if things are unclear at the edges. Educational and communicative: you get business, technology, and legal perspectives to understand each other and adapt your message to the audience. Analytical and judicious: you weigh possibilities against risks and strive to understand technical positions even when information is incomplete. Structured and results-oriented: you take an idea all the way to real, sustainable benefit and leave behind solutions that can be managed. Relationship-building and unpretentious: you build trust broadly, share what you know, and thrive in a cross-functional, self-organizing environment. Before employment, background checks will be conducted according to the City of Gothenburg's recruitment rules, including verification of identity and citizenship. We welcome your application! Other Information The City of Gothenburg applies individual and differentiated salary setting. Here you can find more information about, among other things, salary statistics: Salary, compensation and benefits – City of Gothenburg As an employee in our administration, you are offered, among other things, wellness allowance, bike benefits, and employee support.
