We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant to a 65-year-old woman who uses a wheelchair. In your role as an assistant, you will make a difference in her life and have the opportunity to help a person live on equal terms with others, to the extent possible. The work includes everything from care, help with activities, daily tasks, etc. The workplace is in her home as well as wherever she may be. Working hours are arranged in shorter shifts during day and evening, Monday-Sunday. We would appreciate if you could also work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for this specific client, it is therefore important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work with short notice when needed, due to illness and similar circumstances. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We would like you to have a flexible and independent working style and easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and maintain a professional attitude. You should have a genuine interest and feeling for caring for people. Other qualities that are good for the job are a good sense of humor, calm, patience, and being responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great advantage if you have experience working in personal assistance. Since we care about our clients' safety and security, we have a routine of requesting extracts from the criminal record register for all people employed by the company. This means that upon employment, we will request a register extract from you before you can start working.
