For patients being investigated or with epilepsy, there are two rooms for 24-hour EEG monitoring. The department has 12 care beds distributed across two teams. The urgent care clinic receives patients with, among other things, infections in the ear, nose, and throat area, nosebleeds, dizziness, and severe airway obstruction. The department has 12 beds in single rooms. Patients are divided into care teams staffed by nursing assistants and nurses. We care for both children and adults, with hospital stays ranging from less than one day to several weeks. Your Assignment The care needs of our patients are highly varied and the work is based on a strong focus on highly specialized nursing care. Nurse - Care Coordinator

This position is offered as a permanent or fixed-term employment. About the job As a nurse care coordinator at LF Hälsotjänster, you work with customers who have LF's healthcare insurance. Your focus is on delivering high customer value and providing fast, professional service through medical assessment and coordination of care contacts. Here you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a safer and more accessible healthcare system for customers across the country. Your responsibilities will include: Conduct phone and chat-based medical assessments Schedule care with specialists in our nationwide provider network Ensure customers receive the right care quickly and efficiently Work to deliver excellent service and create value in every interaction Who are you? We see that you have the following experience: Licensed nurse with at least three years of clinical healthcare experience It is also advantageous if you have: Specialist training in a relevant area Experience with telephone advisory services Previous experience with claims handling in healthcare insurance Experience from service industries As a person, you have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You find it easy to use and work in multiple systems simultaneously and readily take responsibility. You are confident in making independent decisions and always keep the customer in focus. You strive to deliver high quality and create value, show courage by daring to try new approaches and take initiative even when situations are challenging. Furthermore, you have a strong drive to perform and enjoy working with others in a team, while remaining open to both personal and organizational development. About us LF Hälsotjänster, Care Coordination consists of a committed team of approximately 35 nurses, three group managers, and a operations manager. We work in central Uppsala, east of the Fyrisån river, and offer daytime work with some opportunity for remote work.
