Gottsunda Health Center Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala Region. We offer a broad range of services within primary healthcare. Our patients see us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Nurse with Diabetes Expertise! We are looking for a nurse with diabetes expertise at Gottsunda Health Center. We offer a permanent position at 100% with start date by agreement. Starting January 2026, Gottsunda Health Center is one of Region Uppsala's four new pilot health centers that, with the help of state funding, aim to achieve the goal of 1,100 listed patients per full-time district physician. This will create opportunities to develop primary care's mission regarding increased accessibility, continuity, and new working methods. Your Assignment As a diabetes nurse, your work includes running your own clinic with patient education about diabetes and self-care, information about diabetes aids and telephone advice, scheduling appointments, and handling matters via e-services. You work independently and are a central part of our diabetes team consisting of a district physician, dietitian, and physiotherapist. You work evidence-based in helping, treating, and advising patients. In addition to work at the diabetes clinic, you will also work at the health center reception and 1177 direct support as needed. Your Qualifications We are looking for a specialist nurse with a focus on diabetes care or a registered nurse with diabetes expertise. Previous experience working with diabetes patients is meriting. The role requires flexibility in your work approach, a desire to take overall responsibility, and a strong commitment to continuously developing the business with the patient in focus. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. Our Operations Gottsunda Health Center is part of the Primary Care and Health Administration and is located in newly built premises in Gottsunda Center, in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have approximately 13,000 listed patients and about 70 employees. Our operations are broad and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented: general practice clinic, residential care services, child health clinics, maternal health clinics, family center, and youth clinic. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we feel makes the work here particularly varied and interesting.
