You can specify your preference for which hospital within the Northern Healthcare Region (Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Västernorrland, and Jämtland/Härjedalen) you wish to complete your clinical placement. 4 position(s). JOB DUTIES Job duties according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations on general practice for physicians (AT). Researcher-AT means that the clinical AT service is extended with up to 12 months of research in periods of 1-6 months interspersed between the clinical practice placements. QUALIFICATIONS Medical degree obtained no later than upon taking office and research qualifications. You must have a doctoral degree or be registered as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Medicine, Umeå University no later than the application deadline. To be an eligible applicant and be considered for employment as Researcher-AT, you must be active in research connected to the Faculty of Medicine at Umeå University. Connection means that the majority of the applicant's or supervisor's research is based at the Faculty of Medicine Umeå University. The research must fall within the scope of ALF, i.e., clinical research with clear patient and population benefit and relevance for health and medical care, or translational research with clear clinical relevance. The project is assessed based on innovation and originality, scientific quality, the applicant's competence, and the project's feasibility. Final ranking of applications will be decided, upon the assessment group's proposal, in the ALF Committee. We're located in newly renovated offices at Västerslätt. Our projects are primarily in the Umeå area. What You Get With Us As a surveying technician with us, you'll have a varied and enjoyable workday, often working on multiple projects simultaneously. You work independently but have close collaboration with production management, our skilled workers, and our surveying manager Fredrik, who will serve as your mentor when needed. Your Responsibilities You'll work with: Responsibility for surveying in projects Measuring and setting out using GNSS and total station Review of drawings and construction documentation Documentation and work according to measurement and control programs Maintenance of measuring and data equipment Creating and updating setting-out data for machine guidance/handheld equipment Supporting projects with quantity regulation and volume calculations Assisting the estimating department with measurements and calculations Preparing documentation and final relationship records Providing basic support for machine guidance systems – regardless of manufacturer Who We Think You Are You are thorough, organized, and good at seeing the big picture in a project. You enjoy collaborating, are communicative, and love developing in your role. If you also have the drive to help advance surveying technology? – Even better! We believe you have post-secondary technical education in surveying or equivalent experience gained through work. We'd like to see that you've worked in the construction industry and thereby have both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field, are comfortable with MS Office, and have worked with surveying or CAD software (e.g., Trimble Business Center, SBG Geo, Gemini). You're familiar with interpreting AMA and MER standards. Meritorious: experience with Trimble Access and iCON Site – but it's not required. For this position, you need a valid driver's license (category B) and good knowledge of Swedish and English. Occasionally, work at other locations may occur. Start date by agreement.
