We conduct research and education in physics, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, technical design, engineering physics, and subject didactics in mathematics and natural sciences. At the research center Fibre Science and Communication Network (FSCN), research is conducted on advanced materials and process technology. The work is interdisciplinary and aims to develop resource-efficient processes and improve the functionality of bio-based materials and energy materials.
