Specialistläkarhuset in Sundsvall AB is a private healthcare provider with a specialist care operation serving private individuals, insurance policyholders, and companies. We consist of a clinic and a modern operating department primarily focused on day surgery. We have specialists in general medicine, cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, ear-nose-throat, physiotherapy, cardiac diagnostics, urology, gynecology, and psychotherapy. Since 2012, Specialistläkarhuset has collaborated with Capio Ögon, which performs cataract surgeries, and Evidia, which has its MRI camera in our facilities.
About the Position
As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, developing, and ensuring high-quality operations, good patient safety, and efficient work processes. You are responsible for results, finances, and long-term development, and you ensure that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and quality requirements.
You have collective responsibility for management and follow-up, ensuring that medical, organizational, and financial goals are achieved. The role includes translating overarching goals and decisions into functioning work methods and continuously monitoring results, initiating improvement measures as needed.
The role involves leading and developing the organization in close collaboration with staff and key functions. You create clarity in goals, priorities, and work processes, and you are responsible for conducting operations in a resource-efficient manner with a focus on quality, accessibility, and patient safety.
An important part of the assignment is contributing to the continued growth of the business. By monitoring the market, developing existing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities, you help strengthen the operation's position.
As Operations Manager, you are part of the company's management and have an active responsibility in strategic and operational development work with a focus on long-term stability, quality, and goal achievement.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with substantial leadership experience in healthcare or other complex operations. You have previously held responsibility for operations, finances, and results, and are accustomed to leading organizations where quality, patient safety, and follow-up are central components.
You have a good understanding of managing healthcare operations and the ability to translate overarching goals into concrete operational benefits. Experience from private specialist care is a merit.
We would like you to have experience developing business relationships, building networks, and identifying new collaboration opportunities. You have a business-oriented approach and see the value in creating long-term relationships that contribute to the continued development and growth of the business.
You have relevant academic education or equivalent experience and are accustomed to working in settings where collaboration with different professions and external stakeholders is a natural part of the assignment.
