Geodesy Engineer

Latvijas Ģeotelpiskās informācijas aģentūra (Reg. No. 90002065000) invites applications for the position of: geodesy engineer in the Geodetic Data Control Department of the Geodesy Department (permanent position) Main duties: Verify the compliance of prepared geodetic documentation with regulatory documents; Verify the correctness of geodetic measurements and calculations; Update information in the State Geodetic Network database; Coordinate and prepare assignments for the maintenance of geodetic points, verification of provided information, compilation, and control of field work; Coordinate and perform completeness verification of information on the state geodetic network in the State Geodetic Network database; Upon request, coordinate and organize the preparation of data and information on the state geodetic network; Coordinate and perform work to ensure compliance with protection zones of geodetic points. Requirements for candidates: Higher education in geodesy, geomatics, land management, or a related specialty; Proficiency with specialized geodetic data processing software (TopoNet, Trimble Business Center); Knowledge and professional-level proficiency with standard geodetic instruments (total stations, levels, global positioning receivers); Compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the "State Secrets" law. Riga Children's, Youth and Family Social Support Center (Registration No. 90009202807) announces Senior Human Resources Specialist (profession code 2423 04) position competition (for a fixed term) Riga Children's, Youth and Family Social Support Center is a municipal institution of the city of Riga that provides: short-term and long-term social care and social rehabilitation services for children and youth; crisis intervention services and social work with families with children, pregnant women; crisis center services with or without accommodation for children, youth, families with children, and pregnant women; prevention in social work and psychosocial assistance for children and youth before and after the termination of out-of-home care until the age of 24; social rehabilitation programs for children and youth, families with children, pregnant women. The purpose of the position is to perform supervision of the institution and its structural units' work in the field of human resources management. You will be entrusted with: work with various types of personnel documentation, including reports; participation in the personnel selection process, including documentation of the selection process; supervision of working time recording for employees with accumulated working time, including work with time schedules; participation in various human resources management processes. We expect: higher education; professional work experience performing duties equivalent in content to the position's responsibilities for no less than 1 (one) year; experience in personnel selection (preferred); work experience with accumulated working time records (preferred); good digital skills; experience working with electronic human resources management and document management systems may be considered an advantage; excellent knowledge of Latvian language - level C (advanced); knowledge and ability to apply in work the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia on human resources matters; desire to work in a team and be part of it; high communication culture and skills in contacting people; desire to contribute and support the achievement of common goals.
