Rehabilitation medicine is part of the specialty medicine operations area and is located at Sandviken Hospital, serving patients from throughout Gävleborg County. Our patient groups include stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, as well as neurological diseases and individuals with chronic pain. Patients' activity capacity varies from complete dependence on assistance to needing support only with memory, problem-solving, structure, speech, and other areas that make it difficult to participate in daily life, family life, leisure activities, and community life. As an occupational therapist in the rehabilitation medicine department, you will be part of a team with multiple professional categories. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We work in teams and apply a behavioral medicine approach, which means we consider how behaviors and lifestyle factors affect the body's disease state, its onset, and especially its progression.
