Our client in Gävle is now seeking a self-driven and experienced Payroll Specialist. You will be part of the HR department but be the sole person responsible for payroll work, giving you a key role in the organization with significant independent responsibility. In this role, you will be responsible for the entire payroll process and ensure that salaries are handled correctly, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and procedures. You will also work closely with the organization's managers and serve as support for payroll-related questions. This is a direct recruitment where you will be employed by our client. About the Position Your main responsibilities: Manage the entire payroll process from start to finish Handle payroll for both salaried and collectively employed staff Ensure correct reporting to authorities and other external parties Administer and report payroll for multiple different companies Interpret and apply laws, collective agreements, and internal guidelines Provide support to managers and employees on payroll and employment-related questions Participate in developing and improving payroll procedures and processes About You Formal Qualifications We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist with strong drive and the ability to work independently. To succeed in this role, we see that you have: Education in payroll or equivalent expertise At least five years of experience in qualified payroll work Experience from both larger and smaller organizations Good knowledge of the entire payroll process for both salaried and collectively employed staff Good system skills and experience working with different payroll systems Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is self-driven, meticulous, and well-organized with a strong sense of responsibility and quality.
