Junior Production Engineer with AI & Digitalization Focus

ABOUT THE ROLE As a junior production engineer, you will be part of a technology-driven team working to develop the smart factory of the future. The role combines classic production engineering with modern initiatives in AI and digitalization, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities, implementing new solutions, and driving efficiencies in the operation. You will work closely with production and be involved in everything from analyzing processes and finding areas for development to implementing AI-related solutions in daily operations. The role is perfect for you if you are at the beginning of your career and want to grow in an environment where you have significant responsibility, work closely with experienced colleagues, and be part of an exciting digitalization journey within Swedish industry. You will work with, among other things: Improving production flows and work methods Optimizing machines, robots, and automated processes Identifying and reducing deviations and waste in production Working with Lean and continuous improvements Supporting operators with various ad hoc problems that arise Industrializing new products and ensuring manufacturability Working with data analysis and implementing changes based on analyses Driving initiatives and implementing solutions related to AI, automation, and digitalization WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU IF: You have completed a three- or five-year engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering or production engineering You have a strong general technical interest and a particular aptitude for AI, digitalization, and new technology You have a good understanding of production processes You speak and write fluently in Swedish and English In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personality.
