About the Position Personal assistance is a service under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Greeting from the Client: "I am a 48-year-old woman who lives an active life with my husband, our two teenagers, and our two dogs. I have diagnoses of autism and ADHD, which means I need structure and clarity for my daily life to function. I also have physical disabilities that require me to have help with practical tasks and mobility in and outside the home. My two dogs are a central part of my life and a great source of joy. They are important family members, and for us to thrive together, you need to be a person who genuinely likes dogs and is comfortable with them taking up space in the home. Beyond my interest in animals, I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ issues. It is therefore a requirement that you share my values regarding inclusion, openness, and everyone's equal worth. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. We are looking for someone who is an avowed animal lover, is unpretentious, and enjoys an environment with both teenagers and dogs. You are confident in yourself and have a good ability to read social situations. For this position, you must: have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written be genuinely interested in dogs: you have experience with dogs and see it as a positive part of the job be values-driven: you support the rights of LGBTQIA+ persons. For this position, it is an advantage if you: have experience with NPF (autism/ADHD) or physical disabilities Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during daytime and evening hours. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start immediately or by agreement.
