Borås City is in an exciting phase where the Department of Individual and Family Care is growing and developing to better meet residents' needs. The Center Against Violence consists of the units Relationship Violence Unit, Barnahus Älvsborg, Älvsborg Resource Center, and Support Center for Youth. The operations are in a development phase with a focus on working knowledge-based, offering low-threshold activities and interventions without needs assessment, disseminating information, and strengthening collaboration and expertise in the field of intimate partner violence and support for crime victims. Currently, there is one Senior Social Worker for the Relationship Violence Unit while other operations report directly to the unit manager. Based on drawings, you will work setting up forms, reinforcement, and casting advanced prefabricated concrete walls. After casting, some finishing work is required. You will work at a casting table with a work team of other colleagues where the group size will vary. About the Operations Starting from fall term 2024, we moved into the newly built Fredriksborgskolan. Fredriksborgskolan will serve as the gateway to the new district of Gässlösa currently being developed in southern Borås.
