About the Facility
Positivgården Preschool consists of one classroom with approximately 20 children ages 1-5 years. The preschool is located in a villa in Hestra. We want to provide children with a secure preschool experience where they have the opportunity to develop their language, mathematical thinking, and motor skills through both free play and planned activities. Time outdoors in our nature-rich environment occurs daily. Our preschool playground has been recently renovated and offers a fun, varied, and stimulating outdoor environment.
At Positivgården Preschool, our staff maintains a positive view of children, with children's strengths in focus. We believe children's abilities develop through joyful learning where they feel included. We want to give each child a secure foundation to stand on. Our philosophy is: secure children are happy children!
At Positivgården, dedicated educators offer children a safe, fun, and educational experience. We work to create creative and educational environments at the preschool where children develop and learn together with educators.
We strive for open and trusting contact with children's guardians. We want all guardians to feel included in the preschool's work with the child. The preschool has a parent council that, together with staff, plans activities and more.
Job Responsibilities
As a preschool teacher at Positivgården Preschool, you, together with your work team and colleagues, are responsible for working goal-oriented based on the objectives your team develops. You shall plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the activities in accordance with current regulations. The analysis then forms the basis for further developing the activities based on the national preschool curriculum and the facility's prioritized goals.
You actively work to promote children's ability to participate and exercise influence over their education by listening to children's perspectives, opinions, and needs. Your schedule includes allocated time for professional development, which provides space for reflection with your work team, collaborative learning, and individual planning.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a preschool teacher license, or alternatively have a preschool teacher degree and are awaiting your license, and who wants to explore and discover with children at Positivgården. It is advantageous if you have experience with or training in TAKK and visual supports.
As an educator, you are dedicated, innovative, creative, and see play as your primary tool for lifelong learning. You are a good team player who is skilled at collaboration and participates in developing the activities. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and maintain a positive attitude toward everyone you meet, thereby contributing to creating trusting relationships.
We also see that you have good digital skills as digital tools are our primary method for, for example, documentation and systematic quality work.

Within the Preschool Department, we offer free educational lunches, work clothes, and as a preschool teacher you also have, on average, five hours of planning time per week.
