Fjällripan is located in Torvalla and serves students from elementary school through high school. The facility is divided into two units with a total of eight beds, and each month we serve around thirty individuals. Here we offer residents the opportunity for recreation and a change of environment in a home-like setting after school/leisure time, while providing respite for the entire family. As staff, you provide support based on each individual's needs and abilities. You help residents with their daily lives and create conditions for as independent a life as possible. With us, you become part of a dedicated and positive team of 20 colleagues, where collaboration, laughter, and community are important parts of the work. We are seeking 3–4 support assistants/support staff for permanent positions at 88% with the possibility of working up to 100% within the Disability Services Sector. The position includes traditional priestly duties: conducting services, performing church ceremonies, confirmation and youth activities. It is a requirement that you are ordained in the Church of Sweden, hold a Class B driver's license, and have access to your own vehicle. We actively work to develop the three pilgrimage routes that pass through the congregations in our parish, including Indalsleden which runs through our area. For those interested in pilgrimage work, there are good opportunities to develop the pilgrimage concept within this pastoral position. To succeed in this role, we see that you are secure in your self-image, confident in your calling, and grounded in your faith and worldview. You understand, appreciate, and value smaller communities. We expect you to be curious and willing to meet people in different life situations, that you are creative and take initiative, and that you listen well to your colleagues. We are seeking someone who builds and maintains good relationships, who can organize and set boundaries for yourself and in the ministry. We also see that you are engaged in the confirmation work team, which is a parish-wide working group. We place great importance on personal suitability. Southeastern Jämtland Parish is relatively new, having been established in January 2022. With us you will have the opportunity to build relationships and accompany parishioners through life.
