Welcome to apply with us – Together we create the best learning! Description We are seeking a career and education counselor for Jämtlands Gymnasium Wargentin. This is a permanent position at 100% with a start date of September 1 or by agreement. Your Future Responsibilities As a career and education counselor, you are an important part of the school's student welfare work and are part of the student welfare team for the programs you are responsible for. You work closely with students, the principal, and other staff, guiding students in both college-preparatory and vocational programs. Your duties include supporting students in their study planning and future educational and career choices. You work with upper secondary students' study plans, program course offerings, applications, and admissions for further studies. You also inform upper secondary students preparing for their program selection and collaborate with career and education counselors in the region. Who Are You? We are seeking someone who is a qualified career and education counselor with a genuine interest in supporting students in their educational and career choices. You are confident in your professional role, build positive relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and external partners, and adapt your guidance to individual needs. As a person, you are responsible, self-directed, and solution-oriented. You enjoy varied work, collaborate well with others, and use digital tools naturally as part of your work. It is an asset if you have experience in career and education counseling at the upper secondary level and feel comfortable with the documentation involved in this role. What Can We Offer You?
