We are looking for you to be a trusted adult who wants to work with children in their residential home. We are currently recruiting personnel for special fixed-term employment (work as needed). Recruitment is ongoing throughout the application period. About Us Creare Care - Gästgivaregården consists of a Treatment Home with 4 places. The facility is located in Fagerås, approximately 30 minutes from Karlstad. The organization also includes a Treatment Home in Kil and outpatient care services. The target group for the residence is girls and boys ages 9-12 with behavioral difficulties. Placement in the facility is made according to SoL or LVU. The placed children have at least 1:1 staffing during all waking hours. About the Work We work using a milieu therapy approach based on behavioral science and use a low-arousal and cognitive approach. As a treatment assistant, you should be able to create a safe environment for the children through a structured and meaningful daily routine. You create a stable relationship with the children and seek them out each day with curiosity to learn more about them. Based on care and implementation plans, you will plan and carry out treatment work individually with the placed children. We use methods such as TLC - Trauma-Informed Care, CBT for children, TEJPING, MI - Motivational Interviewing, and rePULSE. You work according to an action schedule and document your work with the children in a journal system. Work tasks also include all practical matters that arise in a home such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, ensuring children's hygiene, and guiding them in daily chores. You will also participate in the facility's development and improvement work, which aims to strengthen quality and create a good workplace.
